Job Description



DEO (Data entry Operator) is the local Mortgage service/processing Specialist who will complete the Data entry, processing of mortgage files, and liaising with the vendors and credit/ops for the approvals and disbursals.

Key Accountabilities for data entry

  1. Responsible for servicing and processing Mortgage cases/customers for his/her territory.
  2. Support the HAS for processing and documentation of their files.
  3. Ensure the documentation accuracy and suitability.
  4. Ensure the customer TATs are met.
  5. Keep track of PDD.
  6. Ensure internal and regulatory compliance and adherence to DBS policy.

Job Duties & responsibilities

  1. Processing and doing the data entry for all the Home Loan LAP applications, completing the documentation as per DBS guidelines, collection of Processing fees, etc.
  2. Collect ECS and original Sale agreement/offer document for disbursals.
  3. Provide assistance to collection teams to maintain standard repayment schedules for customers, and assist in delinquent cases.
  4. Manage customer issues on service/applications.
  5. Handing day-to-day mortgage operational activity, such as login mortgage application & processing the same.
  6. Monitoring/controlling agencies for different types of verifications such as valuation, legal search, filed verification, FCU, etc.
  7. Coordinating with credit and ops for smooth functioning of the day-to-day business activities.
  8. PDD follow-up.

Required Experience as a Data entry operator

  1. Proven track record in Mortgage sales/servicing.
  2. Understanding of the mortgage file processing, like data entry, knowledge of key ratios, etc.
  3. Thorough product knowledge.
  4. Should have relevant assets experience in the local market and have an understanding of key customer segments

Education / Preferred Qualifications

An MBA /Graduate with a relevant number of years of experience in banking and specifically in Mortgages is preferable.
